The Cardboard project from Progroup enables users to gain an impression of the centre of the Green Hightech concept, of Propapier PM2. You can see the fascinating 360°views through VR glasses (e.g. Zeiss VR or Google Cardboard) or navigate in a 2D view by touch screen or using a gyroscope. The PM2 paper machine in Eisenhüttenstadt produces lightweight and super-lightweight corrugated board base papers from recovered paper. The entire concept of the machine is designed to conserve precious energy and the resource of recovered paper, which is becoming ever more expensive and scarce. The machine has demonstrated its performance capacity by setting five world records. Lightweight papers produced economically are therefore – not just virtual – reality at Progroup.
